Dato’ Sri Vincent Gey Ka Hong, born in Kluang, Johor, is the founder of Global Forway Sdn Bhd. Since its establishment in 2004, the company has grown from strength to strength under his leadership. Today, it is known for its years of combined innovation in telecommunications, software applications consultancy, dedicated broadband solutions and marketing solutions. Given his strong foundation in IT and success of Global Forway, Dato’ Sri Vincent went on to establish Wiseyes Solutions Sdn Bhd and Global Survey & Services Sdn Bhd. His sharp business acumen has also led him to invest in Sunway as a shareholder in Sunway Digital Wave Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary company of Sunway Information Technology which specialises in providing network infrastructure and internet services for the Sunway Group.

He is a passionate leader with first class communication skills and a track record of successful management experience. He is also an inspiring and motivational manager with good interpersonal skills. Being a visionary, Dato’ Sri Vincent is always seeking for long term growth and is the driving force of his company to achieve excellence by adopting continuous improvement. His generosity is also evident by the many contributions to the local community. His high spirit towards the development of ICT has led him to do a lot on the public contribution in this field.

Being an ICT graduate from Informatics College in 1993 in the field of ICT, he has been in the industry since 1995. This has equipped him with a strong foundation in IT and he continues to tap onto this technical knowledge to ensure that business institutions get the best technical and software support.

In 2014, Dato’ Sri Vincent was conferred with the Dato’ title from the Sultan of Pahang, in conjunction with His Majesty’s 83rd birthday. This was followed by his Dato’ Sri title in 2018 — also awarded by the Sultan of Pahang — particularly for Dato Sri’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contributions to the society.
